Dr. Peter DeBuck

Dr. DeBuck was born in Oregon and raised in rural New Mexico. His experiences as part of a large family (many of his 13 siblings were adopted) and his experiences abroad, led him to a career in dentistry. He wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. He attended the University of Utah, earning a degree in Medical Biology. In 2004, he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky School of Dentistry.

Returning to New Mexico, he has practiced dentistry in Albuquerque and the Four Corners area. The last several years, he has had the opportunity to work in Farmington, New Mexico, serving both the town and surrounding rural communities.

Family dentistry has been a passion for Dr. DeBuck. He loves helping patients achieve their optimal oral health and is excited to build long-term relationships both with our patients and our staff. He is continually studying to stay current on the best dental practices.

Dr. DeBuck and his wife of 26 years, Tara, raised three children and recently became empty nesters. Moving to Washington has been a dream in the making for many years. They are excited to be here, both in Gig Harbor and with the Kvinsland Dentistry team. Together, they enjoy trying new restaurants, traveling, and participating in their church community. Dr. DeBuck is excited to try out the Northwest’s mountain biking and backpacking trails (we hope he likes mud!).

Dr. Kvinsland and Dr. DeBuck share a commitment to quality and comprehensive dentistry. We are confident he will be a valuable part of the Kvinsland Dentistry team.
