Insurance Benefits
Kvinsland Dentistry works for you. We accept dental insurance and are happy to complete and submit insurance forms on your behalf. To make this successful we recommend the following:
- Read your insurance policy carefully, ask questions of us and of your insurance carrier at any time.
- Know what your insurance plan’s limitations, exclusions, and maximums are. Some insurance company’s only cover a portion of very basic care and you are responsible for the balance. In some cases, insurance may not cover any of your treatment.
- If you are changing dentists mid-year, we will not have the information of what insurance benefits you have remaining for the year.
- Bring your claim forms to us on your first visit. After that, we will only need new forms if you change dental insurance plans.
Kvinsland Dentistry will file claim forms with your insurance company for you. We will then apply the insurance money to your account. That typically occurs within 4-6 weeks of your appointment. A statement is then sent to you showing you the insurance payment, and the remaining balance. The balance is due within 15 days of billing.
Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office, regardless of your insurance coverage.
Children and Young Adults (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult, unless prior arrangements have been made. The accompanying adult is responsible for full payment of services provided.
