The practice began in the late 1960s when Dr. Jon Kvinsland opened the doors, and in 1976 it officially became the family dental practice that continues today. Dr. Eric J. Kvinsland, DDS
Born and raised in Gig Harbor, Dr. Eric Kvinsland is a second‑generation dentist continuing the legacy his father began. A graduate of Gig Harbor High School, he went on to earn degrees in Business and Human Resource Management from Washington State University, followed by Chemistry studies at Pacific Lutheran University. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington, where he was honored with the Gutherie Award for Restorative Excellence.
His clinical strengths include dental implants, restorative dentistry, and long‑term treatment planning. He remains actively involved in advanced restorative study groups and has served as President of the Pierce County Dental Society as well as a board member and delegate for the Washington State Dental Association. Patients appreciate his steady clinical judgment, gentle communication, and ability to manage complex restorative needs. Outside the office, he enjoys flying, fishing, hunting, skiing, golfing, and time outdoors with his wife and four children.
Dr. Austin Neal, DDS
Dr. Austin Neal grew up in Olympia and graduated from Olympia High School before earning both his undergraduate degree in Microbiology and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington. His advanced training includes oral surgery, root canal therapy, and restorative dentistry, allowing him to offer comprehensive care without unnecessary referrals.
He spent several years practicing in Everett, where he became known for his warm communication style and his ability to help patients of all ages feel at ease. He prioritizes building strong relationships, creating personalized treatment plans, and maintaining a high standard of care through ongoing continuing education. Dr. Neal’s approachable personality, clinical versatility, and dedication to patient comfort make him an excellent fit for families and individuals seeking a dependable long‑term dental home.
